Young Adult Survey Outreach

Prevention Services has been actively connecting with young adults across our community to better understand their experiences with substance use and mental health. Over the past few weeks, our team has been out in the community hosting survey events at local gyms and schools. We recently connected with participants at Freedom Life Fitness in South Hill on February 12th and the Clarksville YMCA on February 17th. These outreach efforts allow us to meet young adults where they are and create comfortable opportunities for them to share their perspectives.

The Young Adult Survey is designed to gather anonymous feedback from individuals ages 18–25 about their experiences, challenges, and needs related to mental health and substance use in our community. The information collected helps guide prevention programming, identify service gaps, and ensure that resources are responsive to the real needs of young adults in our catchment area.

To encourage participation, we are offering a $20 gift card to eligible individuals who complete the survey.

If you are interested in partnering with us, we would love to connect. Prevention Services can come to your location, set up a table, and provide incentives for participants.

Call 434-572-6916 Ext. 1550 or email prevention@southsidebh.org to schedule a visit. Together, we can help ensure that the voices of Southside’s young adults are heard and valued.
