SBH & Medical Reserve Corps Hold RAPID REVIVE on International Overdose Awareness Day

On August 31, 2025, Southside Behavioral Health joined forces with the Medical Reserve Corps at the Engage Halifax Day of Hope Opioid Awareness event at the Halifax Fairgrounds, marking International Opioid Awareness Day.

During the event, our team assisted in training 15 people in Rapid REVIVE! A life-saving program that equips participants to respond to opioid overdoses. We were grateful for the opportunity to connect with our community, share resources, and talk about the many ways we walk alongside people on their recovery journeys.

Southside Behavioral Health was represented by Jenna Dahl and Darrin Adams, with partnership from the Southside Wellness Coalition’s Elaina Martin. A big thank-you also goes to Amanda Hutchins from the Southside Medical Services Corps, who led the REVIVE! training.
