SBH Hosts Re-Entry Council Meeting at Administrative Building

Southside Behavioral Health’s Housing Administration hosted the most recent Re-entry Council Meeting on March 6th, 2025. The Re-entry council consist of different organizations and agencies such as South Boston Police Department, DOC District 8 Probation and Parole, Tri-county Community Action Agency, Sentara Behavioral Health and more. The purpose of these meetings is to collaborate with different stakeholders in the community to help individuals who have or will be exiting incarceration, supports families and reduces recidivism.  We review different events and programs in the community that can help the individuals. These meetings are also an excellent networking opportunity. SBH provided the 10 attendees from various agencies with literature on all of our available services and light snacks.
