SBH Donates 400+ Bags of School Supplies
Established in 1972, Southside Behavioral Health has been providing quality care to the residents of our local communities for more than 40 years. This year, our nonprofit mental health organization served the communities of Mecklenburg and Brunswick counties Virginia, by giving out school supplies to local families during National Night Out on August 3rd. We distributed pencils, notebooks, rulers, etc., to better help children succeed in school. Local youth and their families also participated in our Backpack Raffle to win a backpack full of additional supplies and toys.
Between the two locations, 400+ bags of supplies were distributed to local youth and their families. Thank you to everyone who donated their time to make this event a possibility. Without you, none of this would have been possible. We appreciate you as a valued member of our team and look forward to working together on this and future initiatives to improve the health of our communities.
