SBH Goes to Park View Middle School for Red Ribbon Week

On Tuesday, our prevention services team assisted students in signing the Red Ribbon Week Youth Pledge to be drug-free. Each student and staff member received a bag containing educational materials for the student and their families from Southside Behavioral Health and the Southside Wellness Coalition. The Prevention Services team coordinated with the United States Drug Enforcement Agency which provided the educational materials. On Wednesday, students in each grade created a Red Ribbon link to signify unity to be a drug-free school. On Thursday, students spun a wheel to receive an item with drug-free messaging. We hope the towels, bracelets, water bottles, and stickers will spark conversations with others about being drug-free students, friends, and community members. We are grateful to the staff and students at Park View Middle School for inviting our team to assist with the great works of the staff and their continued efforts to be a drug-free community!
