Prevention offers safeTALK at TJM Community Center

On Wednesday, December 14, Prevention Services held a safeTALK class hosted by A&M Family Services at the TJM Community Center in South Boston.

11 people from across the area participated in this important training that teaches participants to recognize and engage persons who may be having thoughts of suicide and  connect them to community resources trained in suicide prevention. SafeTALK stresses safety while challenging the stigma that inhibits open talk about suicide.
