SBH is seeking a qualified individual who will be responsible for providing the reimbursement interaction with the individuals-in-service at the Board’s service providing sites.


  • Responsible for reimbursement activities including financial assessments and coordination with front desk personnel on collection of service fees in accordance with Board Reimbursement Policies and Procedures.
  • Confers with individuals-in-service to provide positive resolution on service charges or other reimbursement concerns.
  • Ensures that copies of all pertinent billing data are obtained.
  • Verify Medicaid, Medicare, and all other insurance eligibility at time of service and at least monthly.
  • Perform auditing processes on clients’ demographic profiles, insurance profiles, and the following scanned files – Documents Financial and Insurance Verifications
  • Contacting insurance companies to check status of previously denied claims   per list from Reimbursement Specialists. Work with insurance companies to resolve issues on previously denied claims.


  • High school diploma/GED minimum. 
  • Knowledge of processing patient accounts in a medical setting. Knowledge of interviewing techniques and intake procedures. 
  • Ability to key and perform computerized data entry accurately. 
  • Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements. 
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
