This exempt incumbent manages the public information function for Southside Behavioral Health to include all marketing and communication-related activities for the agency. 


The incumbent for this position is fully involved in the marketing and image of the agency in the community, with community partners and within the agency with our employees. They will represent the agency in various public events and ensure that the presentation of the agency is in line with our image and mission. The individual in this position will be directly responsible for the design, development and delivery of all agency marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures and publications. They will manage all aspects of social media and work with agency departments to engage the community with our services and supports.  A small part of this position will also be engaged in assisting with grant writing. This position has the ability to be a remote or hybrid position for the right candidate. 


Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, mass communications, public relations, or marketing and extensive professional experience in journalism, public information and/or public relations including some experience with a public service agency. Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements.  Valid driver’s license and safe driving record, required.
