This exempt (FLSA) position’s incumbent is responsible for supervising direct service and support staff in the Board’s Behavioral Health Center. Hybrid remote/remote possibilities.
Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating behavioral health needs of consumers with other Board staff, coordinating emergency services in the county in which the center is located, providing therapy to consumers in need of such services, providing educational programs in county, assuring consumer case documentation by center therapists meets Department standards and Board policies and procedures, coordinating staffing requirements for each consumer case in center and assuring that behavioral health practices and services meet licensure requirements.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling, required. LCSW, LPC, or LCP, required. Extensive experience in supervising clinical staff in a behavioral health setting, including experience in case documentation, and supervising emergency services. Must meet all criminal background and drug testing requirements. Excellent Benefits package and Virginia Retirement System. Tuition repayment program is available to eligible individuals. Valid driver’s license.
