SBH is seeking a qualified individual for its Funding Coordinator position. This position coordinates and oversees financial activities related to various grants including state and federal funding.

Responsibilities

  • This position will work as a liaison between programs, services, and departments of the agency.
  • Prepares and analyzes various financial reports related to different funding streams and grants.
  • Assists program directors and managers with allocation of various expenses to match appropriate funding streams and grants. 
  • Understands and utilizes an accounting system to record financial transactions related to funding streams and grants.
  • Collaborates with various agency departments and promotes knowledge and understanding of the numerous funding streams and grants.
  • Analysis of compliance in accordance with the rules and regulations administered by grantor and collaboratively works with the other departments to ensure grant’s compliance.
  • Assist, research and perform various financial tasks and duties related to grants and funding streams including monitoring grant expenditures.

Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in business/finance/accounting is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred, combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience in federal, state, local, and other funding tracking, fiscal grant management, grant compliance and analysis (preferred).
  • Experience working in various financial/accounting software preferred.  
  • Knowledge and proficient experience working with Excel. Utilization of various Excel formulas and functions.
  • Be a clear, accurate, and effective communicator with an analytical mindset.
  • Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record, required.
