This full time exempt (FLSA) position’s incumbent is responsible for providing leadership in the provision of emergency response and crisis intervention services to individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders, including those with co-occurring developmental disabilities.


Emergency response and crisis intervention services including prescreens, crisis assessment, stabilization, and referral assistance, both over the phone and in person, in the office and in the community.  These services are provided 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  This position supervises the Emergency Services Clinicians, Community Crisis Stabilization Program, Crisis Assessment and Intervention, Marcus Alert and other crisis services and programs as developed. Duties also include working with the Regional Manager on the Joint Emergency Services Partnership meeting, participating in the Discharge Planning Team, and providing training for staff and community on emergency services. This position often works beyond 40 hours per week and beyond the 8:30-5 workday. 


Master’s degree in clinical social work, counseling or other human services field. LCSW or LPC preferred. Licensed Eligible required. Two to five years of experience providing emergency services and two to three years of supervisory experience. Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record, required.
