This exempt (FLSA) position’s incumbent is responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation and response for all of the programs included in the  Board’s Clinical Behavioral Health Services, including: adult and child outpatient services, substance use services, crisis services for adults and children, community services (case management, housing programs, mental health skill building and psychosocial rehabilitation.) 


This position is also responsible for the development of all new programs required by DBHDS, the agency and federal authorities. This includes the project management of all new initiatives, budgets, program development, implementation, community outreach and marketing plans. This position is responsible for ensuring that all clinical staff meet the requirements for evidence-based training, trauma informed training and any other training required to ensure that clinical services are relevant, reliable and effective. This position is responsible for community outreach, development of community partnerships and engaging community partners in a positive manner to promote SBH services. This position also has a leadership role in SBH’s interest in regional utilization management and planning, participates in regional programs, communicates with regional partners across region 3-B and the greater region 3. 


Master’s degree in relevant human services field required. Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW, LPC) required. Certified Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (SATP) preferred. Certified Pre-Screener required or able to obtain.   Knowledge of the principles, techniques and practices related to the provision of  clinical behavioral health services at a community-based level across the service array including adults, children, SUD, and community services.
