This position will be responsible for the review and reporting of all regional funding sources for clinical services, including submission of monthly and bimonthly invoices to accounts payable, regional fiscal agent and DBHDS as needed. Attends regional utilization management (RUM) meetings and participates in all regional reconciliation meetings for  discharge assistance planning (DAP) management.  Meets monthly with the financial director and clinical director to reconcile all monthly expenses related to grant and regional funding for behavioral health. This person will also be responsible for tracking and billing local entities for reimbursement and payment of services, such as FAPT clients, CITAC (Crisis Intervention Team Assessment Center)  drug court services, mentoring, and all other outside therapy and contracted services. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Review and report on all regional funding sources for clinical services.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and bimonthly invoices to accounts payable, regional fiscal agent, and DBHDS (Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services) as required.
  • Attend regional Utilization Management (RUM) meetings and actively participate in all regional reconciliation meetings for Discharge Assistance Planning (DAP) management.
  • Collaborate with the financial director and regional finance director on a monthly basis to reconcile all expenses related to grants and regional funding for behavioral health programs.
  • Participate in cross-training activities related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare finance, billing, or contract management required. Knowledge of regional funding sources and regulatory requirements for clinical services.
  • Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record, required.
