This exempt (FLSA) position’s incumbent is responsible for handling all accounting aspects involving funds managed by Southside Behavioral Health
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, allocation of budgetary funds; tracking appropriation and expenditures; processing funding source detailed reports for HUD properties and grants; complete reconciliations; creates accounting entries, responsible for month closing process, assists in preparation of the monthly reports, participates in a budget development, works closely with various audit teams, and other analytical work for agency operations.
Associate’s degree related to Finance or Accounting required and a combination of education and experience will be considered. Previous work experience in Accounting or Finance Department, preferably in a governmental setting a plus. Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills. Ability to work with a minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft products, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel knowledge. Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record, required.
