Halifax Youth Coalition

On October 22nd, the Halifax Youth Coalition, now called S.P.E.A.K. (Students for Prevention, Education, Awareness, and Knowledge), had their 2nd monthly meeting. They were joined by guest speaker Paul Short who gave a motivational speech about leadership and youth empowerment. They are currently working on a mental health project and 2 events in November: Project IMPACT presentation to the school body and a Hidden in Plain Sight on Nov. 16th from 3-5pm at the Halifax High School.
